A Commitment To Our History
The Greater Dunnellon Historical Society maintains the historic depot and is dedicated to ensuring its place in history as well as a site for community events. Members would like to see the depot bustle with activity as it did in its heyday.
Learn About Dunnellon’s History
Dunnellon was platted as a railroad town in 1890 when trains provided a major source of transportation. In 1908 the Atlantic Coast Line built the depot on South Williams Street.
